GoDaddy offers a completely shit-tier web redirect feature. It is insanely slow to respond; it doesn't maintain paths; it doesn't support HTTPs. Also, GoDaddy does not support modern ALIAS records, necessary to connect our apex domains to Heroku (or GCP if I move us there).
Bottom line, I'm going to point these domain names to my personal Porkbun account for now, because porkbun -- a super low cost DNS provider -- offers all this stuff, and more, for free.
