Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify and track bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and internal standards
Local: 100% remote
Required
- English (Fluency in reading and writing, speaking can be intermediate)
- Frustrated with poorly structured, inefficient, and unmaintainable code
- Experience with testing frameworks, building backend APIs and user-centric frontends
- Solid Computer Science fundamentals knowledge (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.) Sr. > 5+ years in digital product development on a team of engineers, ideally using NodeJS Mid-Level > 3+ years in digital product development on a team of engineers, ideally using NodeJS Jr. > 1+ years in digital product development on a team of engineers, ideally using NodeJS
Differentials
- Strong experience and interest in working with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Next, and Responsive Web Design, state management patterns and solutions (e.g. Redux) ES2015+, HTML5 APIs and CSS3
- Working experience in Continuous Integration/Deployment
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering
