Dynamic ID lookup deprecation #42

Dynamic ID lookup is currently deprecated according to a comment in the source. It says that it is frowned upon, and I'm not sure why this is the case, so this suggestion is likely a poor one.

We could require the user to explicitly enable dynamic ID lookup in the settings, which would necessitate them to be fully aware of what they are doing.
