1) The split pane's second pane could be streamlined and be utilized by numerous tools as opposed to only the object viewer, which currently uses it. No other tools have a good use for it at the moment, but the option should be available, as it is a good place to display information.
2) The Object Viewer sizing should be made persistent, such that one is able to close the object viewer, and upon reopening it retains its previous size.
