Original 1964 and 1964UltraFast share the same registry entries because the
latter is a clone of the former. Clean your registry entries for Ultrafast and
reboot your pc, then try 1964.
1964mod doesn't use registry entries because it has converted them into entries
in the ini file 1964Core.ini.
Read 1964mod website "Instruction Manual" section on how to clean the registry
entries etc. It is for Vista but should have something similar for windows 7 -
see if you miss out anything.

i made a registry look for glide64 and 1964. only found of 1964 and deleted all
including te instructions of 1964mod. deleted most of the files of 1964
ultrafast and the ones i did not delete and did not needed where overwritten
with the latest 1964mod. delete myglide since i want to use the latest glide64
and still gives me a message of myglide is missing and glide64 its not detected.

Keep 1964, 1964UltraFast and 1964mod in seperate folders - don't share files or
plugins and try again (OR delete all the existing 1964*** folders, create new
ones with different name and try again).
This is not necessary but the fastest way to solve your problem since we do not
know how you organize it on your pc.

ok i will do that. i will only take the boxart and save folders. and the audio
plg in. since we are talking, your latest 1964 audio version 2.7b its really
bad none of my games has good sound. and the zilmar one sucks no sinc at all.
so i will take the 1964 audio plug in save folder and boxart. the rest will be
deleted. but i must tell you under windows xp mode (on the virtual xp
professional machine) the glide64 r219 did not work out. as i am telling you
the latest revision that work for me including the myglide64 r217 was glide64
r214. from the r215 to r219 in my case 1964 any version does not detect the
plug in. could it be some code removed over r215 that make 1964 ignore it as a
video plug in and assumes its just another silly .dll file?

ok completely sure its this plug in.
deleted my old folder except save games boxart and the sound plug in.
put a new folder on my C: disk (it was never located there 1964 btw)
put the latest glide64 (r221) and nothing. even deleting the myglide64 that
1964mod brings along.
no version of 1964 detects the plug in.

I don't think it is a plugin issue because I have no problem using the latest
official Glide64. I compiled it myself.
If you grab it from some internet site, you should wait for the official WIP
release and try again.

ok now on windows xp once i installed ALL the important and optional updates i
was able to use the latest glide64.
so maybe the issue its something weird that this .dll needs that on windows 7
its not installed and in xp it does.
plus my windows 7 its on 64 bits and my xp on 32 bits maybe thats something
different.

your compilation yes it works lol!!! im so happy.
apparently on emucr.com when they compile it something goes wrong since in
windows 7 cannot be load and in xp you need to install all the important and
optional updates lol.
