Collada Materials do not display correctly #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load either of the following files in Max or Maya and export
2. Load them in the simple scene viewer.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the image shown to look like the Maya/Max render scene or at least
as close as possible

The issue is most likely on the exporter side of things but we should still
try to find a solution. There are issues like for example the collada spec
talks about the specular setting being a value around 0 to 1 but shaders
expect a value around 0 to 128.  Apparently ColladaMaya gives us a value
that work for shaders but does not match the collada spec.
ColladaMax gives us a different value with neither matches the collada spec
or shaders.

i have downloaded a .dae file which is of 4.6 MB from 3dvia. and then i 
successfully converted my .dae file to o3dtgz file format for the webgl 
implementation of o3d..but  when i tried uploading  my file car.o3dtgz instead 
of cube.o3dtgz in the simple scene viewer example.. it doesnt work..why? i have 
done all the assistence as per required by this site.. but its not working. can 
anyone help me out in this matter? i am uploading my .dae file here.
