I think we used to have a warning based on # of estimated computed builds. I think it was removed when we added some more advanced pruning.
It would be nice to add this back if possible. Similar to #2162, but applying to all the opt tab settings
Otherwise if we can't, if an optimization is taking more than some time (maybe 5 mins?) display this same warning to the user, maybe linking to #2179
