Check for the existence of ed #44

I didn't have ed installed on my machine, so the script failed but it reported a success.

Thanks for the report. ed should be on every operating system compliant with either POSIX or Open Group standards, so this will not be addressed.

You should add a check. It isn't installed on Arch Linux by default. There is no reason not to add a check.
