Mobile View - Scroll Behavior #34

Closed ezoller closed 8 years ago

In mobile view in iOS, the Next and Previous buttons work perfectly. However, an inconsistency occurs when navigating the stack. When clicking on headers, it sometimes jumps you to the top of the desired slide. Other times it lands in the middle of the slide.

I am tableing this issue till I can do more research. Currently I am not the only one having this mobile scroll to #ID issue.

Until I can find a solve independently through testing, I think we should go live being this is not a game changer.

SO...leaving this open until I can understand how to solve it.

This issue seems to stem from how individual browsers deal with inPage anchor links. You know the ones that have an SRC of #IdSomewhereOnPage.

I cannot control how browsers deal with hash links, So again this is something that needs to be chalked up to browser issue/inconsistancie, and chalk it up to that. The price being, at worst, a short scroll; up. Not a show stopper. Closing this until further notice.
