We talked about this issue and you mentioned it was browser issue. Just letting you know. toc-headernumber-perbrowser

Yeah that is an issue, but one that I cannot fix. Issues such as these have to be chalked up because they are caused by the differences in how different browsers render the same elements differently from each other.

Unless we do browser feature detection, which we will not do, we cannot fix ALL of these little foibles across all browsers. In many cases this is just an impossibility we have to deal with.

Remember, we start with the assumption that this will not look the same across everything. There will always be differences, and we accept that. Many times I can fix the problems by falling back towards the standards, but not in this case.

So I am tabling this until further notice.
