While personally I like the word “eccentric”, I’m not sure everyone would like to see it describe a specification. Could we find a less loaded word for it? What about something in the lines of “new” or “still uncommon”, “non-traditional”, “untraditional”, “modern” or “breaking the status quo”?
I have considered “avant-garde”, but that brings a different set of connotation with it.
I was playing around with the word "different-ness" while writing it, which for some reason didn't roll off the tongue very well, but is ultimately the best descriptor. I'll brainstorm on this later.
Also, note to self, I wrote "however" twice in succession. Really bad flow—need to fix that.
I picked up some ideas, and improved the wording in some parts, especially by soften a few words (Many -> Some) ;)
Fixes #56
I'm not 100% with the wording, but I believe that this FAQ entry is important for adoption. I included the four most common critiques that I hear from traditionalists, but I'm not sure if they are phrased correctly, or whether we should even aim to debunk these critiques in the FAQ.
Regardless, here's a first draft.
