Erasing a connecting line does not work #2

Reported by Champika during Paint Editor Internal Playtest 7/6/17:

Erasing a line that connects (like an "o" shape) does nothing.

Steps to Repro:

Draw a filled circle. Use the eraser to draw a "o" shape inside the circle. Behaviour is unpredictable. Once nothing happened second time a solid line appeared.
