After playing with all three, I found the line tool in the existing Scratch 2.0 editor to be the easiest to use when trying to draw a porcupine. The lack of smoothing (lots of points) plus the ease of removing a point (simply clicking it) made complex path manipulation very easy.
I love the new bezier point control (in complete tension with my comment above ^^ ;-))
