Update load script and improve logging #142

These are two minor improvements that I did when looking into #140. As I released 1.1.7-beta when testing the ILRepack trick with Deedle, I'm also incrementing version number to 1.1.8 and releasing a new version (so that the latest version on NuGet is a stable one).

I already released 1.1.8 so that I can integrate this with Deedle, but leaving the PR open for a quick review (though there should be no logic change...).
