German (de_DE) translation #5

Translated to German (de_DE)

I used the term "Bereitschaft" for "Suspend" as this is what Gnome also calls it. grafik In German (at least in Germany / de_DE ), this however is normally called "Ruhemodus". I have never heard or seen the term "Bereitschaft" anywhere else.

Also, the term "Timer" also exists in the spoken German Language, but we tend to use "Zeit" ( = "Time" ) like in "Die Zeit ist abgelaufen" ( = "The Time is up / has run out") instead. Using "Der Timer ist abgelaufen" would be possible, but more unusual.

I absolutely agree that (1) using the terms that are already presented in a user's environment to keep consistency, and (2) using more natural phrases instead of literal translation are good decisions. Thank you! 😊

@RoepLuke I updated the app, it now includes new strings to translate. .po files are modified, please just open the one you need and edit. I don't want to publish new version on flathub until all translations are updated. Thanks in advance! 😉
