Proof Reading #21

I've read through the provided proofs quite closely 3 times now, and I haven't found any typographical errors.

I have one possible suggestion for a slight change in wording -

On page 2, in the 2nd paragraph of the page, it currently reads

This theory maintains that, for lower-income individuals, being confronted with higher levels of inequality locally “increases the salience of their disadvantaged position within a conspicuous local economic hierarchy” (NJL, p.327), promotes class consciousness, and, in turn, increases demand for redistribution.

I keep getting hung up on "higher levels of inequality locally." I suggest maybe changing it to "higher levels of local inequality."

Just a thought.

I have to go through the paper again this afternoon, but I do agree with Kevin that the specific sentence sounds a little bit unnatural. Kevin's revision sounds better.

I concur with Kevan (and Erico too, of course).
