I agree this needs doing.
The list of F# organizations should likely go on http://fsharp.org/community/projects, which is quite prominent in search result?. We want to have one canonical list, and that should probably be on fsharp.org
The information can be copied over to fsharp.org to fit within its styling rules whenever the site refresh finally happens.
https://fsprojects.github.io/ is a site I visit regularly, fsharp.org is a site I only visit to check if a PR is live.
http://fsharp.org/community/projects is already long an unwieldy without any decent navigation aids or filtering mechanisms, if anything orgs should get their own page on fsharp.org
The kind of page I'm envisioning is along the lines of
with a bit more supplementary information adorning the icons
Love the design.
(I have to say I haven't visited https://fsprojects.github.io/ in a year though.... )
The fsprojects gh-page could use an overhaul, I'm willing to help with it as long as I'm not doing it by myself 😜
( ^ not an exhaustive list )
fsprojects is often the point of entry to the F# OSS ecosystem, but as projects are spun out into their own organizations the easy discoverability they used to have is lost. A page dedicated to F# orgs solves that.
