Ingress Portal Status #8

Display the portal status of the "Kunst" as a colored indicator

Not possible without official Ingress API which still has no ETA. I know c-base has a portal table, but they are violating the TOS.

Yeah, violating the TOS would be obvious in this case, but do we really care? ;) Scraping the intel map with an extra account would actually be a fun exercise. It's not like we're doing this on a large scale and we don't need updates every two seconds. Twice an hour would probably suffice for a little gimick.

Extra accounts are ALSO against the TOS ;) You are welcome to integrate https://github.com/c-base/ingress-table, though.

I'm kinda surprised playing Ingress is in itself not a violation of the TOS ;) But thanks for the link!

If someone wants to go ahead and implement this, http://ingress.42.vc/portal.php?id=0 gives you the state for Datenautobahn, http://ingress.42.vc/portal.php?id=1 the state for the Skulptur. ENL/RES/GRY/UNK. Only works from FSR office LAN, currently updates not too often.

ENL - Enlightened/Green RES - Resistance/Blue GRY - Neutral/Grey/Gray ;) UNK - what do I know?

Oh, I thought UNK was somehow meaning uncaptured... Unknown then?

The backend/API now updates the state of our two portals every 10 minutes. Please adapt the frontend accordingly :)
