Next step getting involved into Gentoo #31

Hey! I have no idea how to contact you otherwise but perhaps it is time to make a step and become a Gentoo developer? Are you interested and if so, what do you need to know to get started? I've seen many people work on things past decade and I think you are certainly capable! Would be great if you moved into Gentoo!

I... already tried in the past to become a Gentoo dev (~10y ago). In the end it boiled down to: no time, need a mentor (nobody was free).

I've been daily driving Gentoo in various forms over the last 20y, and try to give back to the community also (bugs and patches), it's just I don't have much free time :) I know it's not just about patching and pushing new commits, there are processes and conventions, which I will have to learn. At the moment I'm simply juggling too many things already in private life, I may be able to consider it again next year.
