Gnome 'Type to Search' in overview causes the first letter to be duplicated #19

I'm not sure whether this is an upstream bug or something with this extension, but I can only reproduce it when the extension is activated so I am reporting it here also. Basically any time I type into the "Type to Search" bar in the overview, the first letter is duplicated and I have to backspace once.

This is with Gnome-shell 42 (also reproduced on both .beta and .rc releases) with Wayland on Arch. Can provide other details if you think they would help.

I did experience this bug, don't know if it's this extension related. By far I don't know what could cause such a bug because I don't hack the entire overview or the search bar.

I cannot reproduce! Ubuntu 22.04 dev, GS 42 beta, wayland.

Ok, I could reproduce. Caused by triggering overview maybe too fast for GS. Already solved, will be published this PM after some additional multi-displays check.
