re the big-ft 'npm test' step breaking for me with "ERROR: Another Selenium process is already running", I googled for that phrase and found https://github.com/vvo/selenium-standalone/issues/140. So, installed the JDK, tried again, worked.

got there. via JDK, assorted minor steps to be rewritten in readme. otherewise ok.
