‘ello. We have a number of FT screens around the building, and I think they’re great, but while they are showing a single page they are pretty static. I have no idea whether the page is going to update or not, so am often left staring at the screen like a lemon waiting to see whether it has crashed or not (which sometimes does happen), or waiting to see how many different marvellous screens there are. Would it be possible to give me some idea of what is going to happen in the future? Suggestions:
a semi-transparent anti-progress bar or spinner showing the time until the next pane loads
an indication of how many panes exist (I’m assuming that the underlying UX widget is a carousel), with an indication of how far through the carousel I am
