Have you clicked the "play" button? When it's not playing, I also get the error message, when playing it's fine.

I have the same issue with my S330.

realschmidt commented 4 months ago

I have the same issue too with my SoloCam S40 (T8124). I've got all entitys but the stream doesn't work. One thing that I saw is if I press the "Start P2P" Stream the status only shows prepairing and no streaming. The rtsp urls exists but doesn't work also in vlc. In an other post I saw that you have change the rtsp-security to basic (in Eufy App) than it works, but I dont't have this settings (only local).

robinhood-code commented 4 months ago

same issue. When it is not streaming, can we show the last frame image instead of showing the “can’t get URL” error messsage ?

+1 here... get the "can't get URL for camera.doobell" error, and also - the service.turn_on and off for this camera do NOT work. I have two other Dufy cameras (T8142Z) - for which the service calls to turn and off both work. It does not work for this camera. Don't know if it is a different issue - but prevents it working. Note - when I look at the livestream feed in the Dufy off the doorbell - it works fine (but status in HA continues to say IDLE.

+1 I had it working for a second on a powered camera. When pressing the start P2P button on a battery device, it all stopped.

I found a ''sulotion'' or a possible reason for the error. When you turn off RTSP in the Eufy App and Turn it on again, the stream will load and show the actual footage. But you have to do this each time (what doesn't make sense). Hopefully with this, the issue can be solved.. @fuatakgun

I am using the Homebase 3, all of you with the issue as well?

Thanks for this. I am using homebase 3 as well but I cannot find where you turn off RTSP in the Eufy Security App. It looks like the only way to do this is to disconnect from the HomeBase and then connect to a NAS. I don't have a NAS so don't want to do this if I don't have to. Appreciate any support.

In googling an answer for above, I found this similar thread:

Jawny commented 1 month ago

If you go into the settings of your camera -> General -> Storage -> NAS you get the option to turn off RTSP stream.
