Solar powered cameras - Does integration work with them? #1161

Hello,

Does integration work properly with SoloCam models? I am interested in working with the S220 model.

What features are available for this model? Due to the battery power, I think that only taking a screenshot when an incident is detected, sending a screenshot at a specified time interval are enough. Live streaming for SoloCam is unnecessary.

I just got my 2 x Solo Cam S340's working today with a snapshot and I was able to have all the functions available to Home Assistant..also got some sort of stream though I have a clash with listening port with the Zwave server which I am still researching

Have you had any luck with the stream? I have also have an S340 and cant get a stream to work

Not so far......I can only still get snapshots working and if I have to disable the my Zwave integration due to a listening port clash on port 3000.

I doubt we will ever get it working due to the fact no-one has responded to my port clash issue and the bigger issue is Eufy have their heads stuck in the sand and refuse to give owners the choice to turn on or off the RTSP stream in this solar powered camera as they do not want to damage their brand name as they believe customers will blast them about the battery drain if you turn on RTSP streaming regardless of having the owner tick a box that turning on RTSP negates any responsibility to Eufy.

Why don't you change the port of eufy add-on to something else other than 3000 and setup the integration again?

I have a s330. And the stream does work. But it has to detect motion first. Then i can click error(top right of the card.) and i see the stream. But i cant initiate the stream from ha.
And in the s330 i can turn on rtsp. In ha i use webrtc. The entity under diagnostic called start rtsp stream doesnt work.
