No Sensors extracted for S220 Solar Cam #933

Hi,

I have 2 cameras, a S220 (the one with the solar panel) and an Indoor Cam Pan&Tilt.

For the second camera, the integration created all kinds of switches and sensors, for the S220, however, only 4 sensors were created. I actually wanted to start/stop motion detection when I'm not at home, so I wonder why these functions are not exposed as switched like with the Pan&Tilt Camera

ckworkshop commented 11 months ago

My S220 doesn't show the camera picture or feed sensors. Is this expected, or do I need to somehow reset my S220 connection so the sensors populate?

It isn't just your setup. I just finished going through the install and see the same thing.

Judging from the open issues (and seeing no responses there), I'm not sure if we can actually expect a fix for this 🤔

fuatakgun commented 10 months ago

@orangecoding , before jumping into judging, let's start with facts. Reading the README file would be enough for you to understand that it is not supported yet.

please work with @bropat if this is not on his radar yet

jsight commented 10 months ago

We know it isn't supported. There's a PR in progress in the client library to support it: https://github.com/bropat/eufy-security-client/pull/353

Hopefully that work gets completed and it will get added to the supported list. I'm fairly optimistic, tbh.

There is nothing needed here to support it, it would work after a new version of add-on is released.
