@gbirke,

I'm quite happy for this to simply happen, however the changes have broken almost all tests which target source builds for all architectures.

I have made some recommendations and tested them which should get the tests passing again.

I'll be merging this in a few days and completing the work if no action is taken.

I've been without internet for a few days and I've not been able to do things otherwise. I hope to receive your feedback when #22 is ready for merging.
