improve performance of composer #45

composer is effectively downloading a large pageist lust each time. I need to look at what's involved in having a local copy and up-to-date copy inside the repo which doesn't interfere with functionality.

Had a look at some lightning-fast mirrors the other day, so those are possible...

Much better now, but I'll explore more options...

I'm considerably happy with performance now, as it's not downloading the whole pagist file each time composer runs. I don't want to explore mirrors as they can't provide guarantees, so I will close for now...

It should be noted somewhere that the wget install method does not include the package.json file, so I might fix that quickly before closing...
