Hi. I would like to add these modifications in order to make updating through git and package managers easier.
I've created a pull request at scoop-extras in order to add it to the scoop utility package manager. One of the available functions in it is that of persistent folders and files. These proposed changes would allow easier updates.
Also, I would like to add a sha256sum file to make updates more secure but maybe a new release for such a small addition could be too intrusive. Let me know what you guys think.
P.S. I've been making tutorials on YouTube about bug.n. They are not great but maybe they could diminish the volume of rules and configuration questions in the future.
