The dependencies have all been updated to be compatible with php 8. phpunit has also been updated to version 9 with required configuration changes made. A abandoned library has been removed and replaced with the alternative. The files map for the primary plugin has also been replaced with an autoloader. Finally, the travis configuration has been updated to support php 7.3, 7.4, and 8. I am not sure if there is anything else that needs to be done to update everything for php 8 support, but this should at the very least be a good start.
