SWFObject and Facebook Clash in IE #297

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Render a SWFObject with width 100% on a facebook-connect enabled page.
2. Use IE7 or IE8.
3. Refresh the page (must occur to reproduce). The flash object is now
rendered to the absolute top-left of the page to the flash's absolute
centerpoint.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting the flash to render within its div, but for some reason it floats
as stated above within its own div (somehow slipping under other content as
well).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Occurs in SWFObject 2.0 and 2.1.

Please provide any additional information below.
This only happens in IE7 and IE8 after a page refresh on a Facebook-connect
enabled site. Have tried multiple parameters, CSS, etc. without any
revelation to the problem.
