The installed /etc/default/grub needs some slightly tweaking:
GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false
so co-installed Operating Systems are detected
GRUB_THEME=/usr/share/grub/themes/aptosid-nemesis/theme.txt
let's use grub's theme/ background image on the installed system as well
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR is something we need to think about, there are reasons for going either way
this is something to keep in mind, not in need of urgent fixing
using aptosid is cleaner, in the sense that it doesn't clobber an existing Debian install (which is nice)
but it holds a risk in the sense of upgrades and users eventually accepting the package maintainer's default
