Hi, v2.1 was amazing and probably the fastest out there. but 2.2 is very slow. Like half the speed of 2.1 and also I am getting crashes.

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

Are you running on Windows or on Linux

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

Windows Sometimes I am getting this error: invalid equihash

and sometime I launch (even 2.1 now) and the speed is half what it should be).

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

I was using funakoshi 2.1 on a single computer (with 2x titan xp) and it worked well for a while without any crash and with good speed. but on my 8 titan xp rig, it does not work well.

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

Some other process such as Chrome may prevent nvidia for giving full speed to the miner .

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

What is the miner's memory requirement on your system? Do you have enough memory?

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

Did you specify all 8 gpus in command line: -cd 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

8 GB of ram and yes I specified all the gpu with -cd 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

No chrome

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

I went back to EWBF with my 8 gpu rig but now even that one has problem. Maybe I just need a restart.

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

It was working without a single crash since months with EWBF.

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

Are you over-clocking the gpu's? If so maybe you should less over-clock for Funakoshi-Miner.

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

Jocelyn, please tell me your conclusions. I hope that you solved the problem.

StrobFX commented 6 years ago

I use msi ab like this 90% 81tl +150cc +50mc 92fs

I will get back to it later cause I have some other work to do sorry.

funakoshi2718 commented 6 years ago

My solver is not messing with the clocks (even if I wanted to, in Pascal architecture Cuda doesn't allow you to change the clocks, and I am not using lower-level api's). However maybe because Funakoshi Miner is faster than EWBF, you should start with low over-clocking and gradually increase it.
