[User reported issue] Permanent red light after firmware update #11

Some users are reporting experiencing a permanent red light sometime after a successful firmware update and while waiting for cyan/light-blue light to flash. Firmware versions that we tried were 1.54.3 and 1.48. 1.48 had the same sympton. It wasn't until we tried reformatting internal storage and external storage that the symptoms were fixed. User is in central america region. Using RK1 fxblox.

Also to add, I also have this issue.

Used a 32GB flash drive and loaded the unzipped files of the latest update before connecting to the top slot in the FX Blox to install the firmware.

I checked with Marco that the SSD I have was formatted properly. In any event, even with the internal storage that came with it, still cannot get set up.
