In the current boesp.xml, Greek text appears in two incomplete forms:

• <gr>a.</gr> (or b., etc.) Where Latin letter a is in place of alpha, etc. These appear to be limited to the sections marked <V4 (Verbesserungen from Melanges Asiatique, Tome VII). There are 143 instances of these, which can be changed en-masse.
• <g></g> Placeholder for Greek text from volumes 1-3. There are 93 instances of these. Some of these are Greek translations of sayings, and some are phrases of Greek text in footnotes. The greek text has earlier been provided for many (perhaps all) of these instances in the greektext directory. The task here is to integrate these texts into boesp.xml.

@Andhrabharati In Greek.Translations.boesp-2-corrected.txt, you ask is this {%...%} the marking for italics?

In the version you were working with, yes. This is the way digitizations from Thomas often represent italic text. Similarly, {#...#} represents Sanskrit text (in HK transliteration), and {@...@} represents bold text.

In the current xml version, (step0/boesp.xml), these conventions are replaced by

• <i>X</i> italic
• <s>X</s> Sanskrit text
  • in boesp.xml, X is in SLP1 transliteration
  • in boesp_deva.xml, X is in Unicode Devanagari
  • in boesp_iast.xml, X is in IAST transliteration
  • in boesp_hk.xml, X is in HK transliteration.
• <b>X</b> bold

Note: Some small letters are used in script form, like κ (kappa-print) > ϰ (kappa-script); θ (theta-print) > ϑ (theta-script) etc.

This is probably just an informational note.

Add text for D6075 and D7046. And correction to F 6109. Also, changed <gr>x</gr> to <g>x</g>, since only 1 tag for greek text is needed. Similarly changed boesp.dtd.
