@klarani Thanks for feedbad abour Laverna ! Actually I'm working on the dropbox problem but you're right in many points ...
I realized I added this comment on wrong place, so I closed it and added it to the laverna issues instead.. :)
@klarani No problem I'm also working with a friend in the Dropbox problem and I maintain the Arch Linux package so mistake can come fast :)
Hi! I love this, this is really what I have been waiting for for so so long!
As a UXdesigner I have however some small suggestions!
I don't get any feedback (selfhosted or macos) when I saved something, so I pressed the save ten times over... It might be that there is feedback but I dont see it? A small ✓ or writing "saved!" would help a huge lot as I had no idea :)
It's not super-clear where to find the tags, maybe having them separate in the menu or even better as a footer of the sidebar.
It would be awesome if tags could contain dashes and other languages... åäö? :P
To me it's not totally clear wether my tags are saved as I add them or by saving the note -or- if it's just me doing tons of typos. In case it's saved automatically: turn them into tags graphically when hitting enter or save them when pressing save, not both...
I know this one might not be small, but customizing the text-size would be more than welcome. To me the names of the notes are rather big and it makes it feel a bit unpro... also hard to get an overview.
I would love to be able to choose if to reveal the first line of the note. Maybe a more compressed setting where there is just the star and the name of the note?
I can't see what notebook I'm in unless I randomly pick another. A ✓ in the menu next to the notebook I'm in would help. Or having a dropdown in the top for notebooks and "all"?
I would assume the settings in the notes-panel (normal view) would reveal settings for that panel not the same settings as the app. For the sake of simplicity I would leave it in the menu as it's not necessary for the writing to adjust these.
I have no idea what "profile" and the default is and maybe I should be happy that it didn't save the random thing I didn't put in that field... but maybe it needs to be clarified and the save-feedback would help too.
Is a module a plugin? If so it might be that users that are less technical would understand "plugin" or "extension" better but again I'm not sure what it is. An explaination to what the module does would be great. It can even give the app an extra human touch, you are already there with the names! Hope to see this in the desktop-version. 👍
Would be interesting with a "about my notes" section in the settings with how many notes I have and how long I used it and small statistics or something?
Other than that I would really love to praise the usability and the interface of this, very well thought out! This app kicks almost every notetaking app I have tried to the curb just on the usability, and I'm quite picky.... Also the graphic design, the size of the typography aside, it's very well done. Simple and clean without being crossing the edge of being austere, great job!
And if I may add more praise, the privacy-deal. :1st_place_medal:
This app makes the world such a happy place again! <3
