Will need to define:

  1. Purpose
  2. Examples of the function executed correctly
  3. Input - config, dependecies, etc
  4. Output - what artefacts will be producted from this function
  5. Metrics by which this function is measured - dwell time, queue length, success metrics
  6. Goals / standing orders of the function
  7. Forecast demand for the function over the next month, quarter, half year
  8. Mining analogy
  9. Report structure
  10. Data structure within - summary, individual data points, logging
  11. Unplanned comms types
  12. Planned comms types
