According to ADRC (Asia Disaster Reduction Center), they have earthquakes, floods, landslides, and fires (houses and forests). Beside, Nepal located near the boundary between the Indian and Eurasian plates, so it is affected strongly by earthquakes.
In 2015, we know the Gorkha earthquake which was magnitude of 7.6 and caused extensive damage to the place, and recently October 2021 flooding and landslides caused by heavy rains in western Nepal.
Also, the plain in southern Nepal every year, there is constant flooding damage due to heavy rains during the rainy season. Citizens’ Committee in Japan for Overseas Support(Shapla Neer) シャプラニール reported that there are many areas with inadequate disaster prevention measures that do not have government or NGO support in rural areas.
