Hi @Smiley-k

if they are discovered through a net inventory task, we may improve their support. For that we need some snmp walk samples. See snmpwalk output section 4.4 for more detail to to obtain such output. Thank you

Hi,

I have same issue,

As Cisco phones are discovered through snmp switch inventory and phone name is related to mac address: Cisco phone name begin by SEP or SIP following by mac adress (ex: SIP381C1AB4383F => SIP @mac=38:1C:1A:B4:38:3F)

Is there any way to create a link between name and mac adress for these cisco phone and allow update of corresponding phone in inventory instead of inject them in unmanaged device list ?

Thanks

there may be new information?

Hi @Smiley-k last merged PR #447 may really help with Cisco phone discovery on switch via LLDP/CDP. But this won't definitively import the devices as phone. And we can't automatically import what we find as connected on a switch port. This is your role to import these devices. You should be able from unmanaged devices frame to create a mass import affecting the phone type to all the devices you want to import.
