inventory stopping with error timeout 500 with agent > 2.3.10 and FusionDirectory 1.0.9.x #74

Hello,

we have a plugin in FusionDirectory that allow to store the inventory inside the ldap to be able to linked them to system and see it directly into the system object.

Until 2.3.10.x there where no issue and everything goes well, now with 2.3.16 and 2.3.17 all i get is error timeout 500 in exactly the same configuration.

What i see is that the network entries is never filled right, in 2.3.10.x i got all interfaces in 2.3.16/17 all i got is lo.

What kind of debug do you need to check this to and how to get it ?

You have tested with what OS ?

hello,

jessie (Debian 8) and i have tested the 2.3.16 from your own repo and 2.3.17 from sources

Hello, can you provide agent journal for 2.3.10.x and 2.3.17 for the same platform started exactly in the same way ? If you start the agent from command line start it with "--debug --debug".

@bilbo-the-hobbit Is this issue still a problem ? If yes, are you using SSL to submit inventories ?

didn't get time to investigate more but would have time start of july 2016, and yes it was with ssl

Hi @bilbo-the-hobbit I'm closing this issue as it is really old and few important version has been released since. Feel free to re-open if you still have that issue with last 2.3.20 version.
