New device created when doing SNMP Inventory #1869

Hi,

I have carried out the steps as instructed at "/plugins/fusioninventory/front/menu_snmpinventory.php" to inv via SNMP, the computers on our network we are inventorying via the agent so not a problem there.

I am now trying to add our photo copiers however I am running into an issue where on the NetDiscovery a device is created (KM9F625E), I then have to do some changes to add it to the printers section. If I then do a NetInventory (SNMP) it sees the same device and inventories it but creates the inventory as a new device with a different name "(4)".

Am I doing something wrong or is the server getting in a muddle? See attached logs for dicovery and inventory.

Thanks iFr4g

Tech Specs: OS Client - Windows 10 Agent Version - 2.3.17 OS Server - Ubuntu 14.04 GLPI Version - 0.90 FI Plugin Version - 0.90+1.3

add full snmpwalk from your device , and change issue subject that is for specific device.

You should even follow the following documentation: snmpwalk output But try first a recent agent, 2.3.17 is definitively outdated and many improvements has been done around NetDiscovery/NetInventory support, including bug fix. After that, you should also really think to upgrade GLPI & FusionInventory for GLPI.
