Hello, I'm using the last version of GLPI(23rd January),and the last agent of fusion inventory: OS: (Windows7) INVENTORY : v2.3.18 NETWORKDISCOVERY : 2.2.1 NETWORKINVENTORY : 2.2.1

My problem is: When i discover my devices hard Phone(Avaya 96xx| 46xx),i saw that is import in unmanageable devices, After importing manually them in the "Phones",i can't scan them by SNMP protocol.However if I import them in "network devices" I have no problem and I can scan them without any issue. Can you help me please,

BR, James Hidden

Bonjour,

Line:86 to 100 my @sysdescr_rules = ( { match => qr/Switch/, type => 'NETWORKING', }, { match => qr/JETDIRECT/, type => 'PRINTER', }, { match => qr/Linux TS-\d+/, type => 'STORAGE', vendor => 'Qnap' }, );

scan_network scan_phone

Merci

ddurieux commented 7 years ago

It's because we had only code network inventory (SNMP) for printer and network equipment because since many year no IP phones had SNMP implemented.

If now IP Phones have SNMP, we need add code to manage it

jhaddan392 commented 7 years ago

If I want to add this match for the device phone, need I to change just the "hardware.pm" only or will I need to change others files? I think "Sysobject.ids" is already powered by the almost phone brands well-known, BR, JHADDAN
