Computer import doesn't work #2723

Hello,

A few weeks ago, I upgraded fusioninventory for glpi and fusioninventory agents for Windows via GPO and the same vbs script provided at the time by your repo. Therefore, almost all the computers don't update in Computers anymore. I can see in FusionInventory administration all the computers' reports but most of them are affected to the root entity, the computer isn't found and the fusion inventory agent version is with a * in the list. All the rules were functionnal before I upgraded fusioninventory agent, fusioninventory for glpi and GLPI. I activated the extra-debug but I don't see anything interesting in the files added in ...glpi/files/_logs/. I tested all the rules for the import but they seem fine. I think one of the upgrade I made didn't go well maybe because I did something wrong but I don't see what. I post in fusioninventory for glpi because the agents' reports come correctly in GLPI.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, check if you have something in the ignored import rules menu

JackBauer78 commented 5 years ago

I had some. I deleted them but it's still the same.

ddurieux commented 5 years ago

Is it filled after new inventories?

JackBauer78 commented 5 years ago

Inventories always come in FusionInventory but the results aren't imported into all computers. As you can see, I have some reports which are not linked to the computer but some are.

I think it's a problem with import rules not import the computers. So check them

JackBauer78 commented 5 years ago

I checked them. I reinitialized them but it's still the same. I checked the rules engine with Chassis_type, Name, UUID, Serial Number from a machine report that is not importing and they're working : a link with the correct computer is found. I wish I had more logs to see how the import is denied or working.

Why I am with the 2.4.2 agent version, it doesn't work but after I forced the 2.3.16 installation, it works so there is something wrong with the last version of the agent, so it seems.

Same problem with a 2.4 agent version. Tomorrow, i'll test with a 2.3.16 agent version and i'll see.

JackBauer78 commented 5 years ago

I tested with a 2.4.1 agent and it worked so the 2.4.2 is bugged.

ddurieux commented 5 years ago

can you create a local inventory file of 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 and make a diff to have differences between both files/version ?

Ph1eG commented 5 years ago

Same problem for me with 2.3.16 agent version... I don't understand, a plugin problem ?

ddurieux commented 5 years ago

It can be related with import rules, so it depends your devices, if they have serial number, etc...

Ph1eG commented 5 years ago

it seems to be a plugin problem for me as related here --> http://forum.fusioninventory.org/viewtopic.php?id=5692
