Support for the ELCO THISION S 25.2 ? #280

Open madsdyd opened 7 months ago

Hi there

I have an ELCO THISION S 25.2 gas boiler, that is integrated to "remocon.net". (This is in Europe / Denmark)

I have installed this integration in homeassistant and provided my credentials for the remocon net.

The integration completes the installation, and creates a device with 5 entities. I think 5 sensors is slightly less than I expected? Also, some of the sensors does not have names (Seems the device does not either).

Is this boiler supported by this integration? If not, can I do something to improve the support? Should I follow the procedure on https://github.com/fustom/ariston-remotethermo-home-assistant-v3/wiki/Unsupported-whe%7Csystem-type ? (I would like to have confirmation about this, before sending my creds in email ;-) )

Thanks in advance.

Hi again

Would love to know if I could do something regarding this issue. I am a fairly competent Linux developer, if that is of interest, but with very little insight into the internals of HA.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. Yeah. I know. I am slow. It's a hobby project, but I'm try my best. I don't have any documentation for the ariston API, so a lot of thing here is just guess or developed by experience. What sensor do you need? And of course if you share your credentials could help a lot.

Hi @fustom

Hehe, seems I am very slow too! Had totally missed your response above (maybe some mail client filtering gone rouge). And I am very grateful that you would have a look at it.

I don't specifically know if I miss sesors or control elements, but in the app, I can put the boiler into "automatic" mode, comfort mode, night (reduced) mode, and switch it off. Thought maybe that was part of this ass well?

It would also seems it is possible to control the heating of the water tank seperately from the water circulating in the radiators. Not sure it is correct though.

There are also some names for the boiler, etc. Not sure where this is "stored"

I will send you my credentials in the mail, thx. a lot.

Hi @fustom

Did you get my credentials, I sent 18/3? :-)

fustom commented 5 months ago

Yes, sorry I didn't have time to improve this project. Maybe next week.

Sounds good! An no stress! Just wanted to make sure that you had the information you need. And thanks again for spending time on this!
