the proper way is to port the number but they do not make it easy

the easy way:

set up new twilio number
stop paying callcentric, give them enough money for a month, monitor balance
notify r2d2 that outgoing callerid will change to new number and old number will be retired in 1 month
move r2d2 extension to new twilio number
in 1 month, stop ringing r2d2 phone when old number is called
remove all callcentric config
