[Feature request] Removing the app from the start menu or the option to do so #128

This is 100% a minor non issue and really more of a pet peeve of mine so I understand completely if this is ignored.

The android settings already let you shortcut into the FUTO keyboard settings if it's the selected virtual keyboard app. So I wanted to know if there was a way to remove the app itself from the start menu which exists as an easiert shortcut and as a redundancy, just for me to not see it when I am browsing my instsalled apps.

That would be a feature of your launcher. Try long-pressing the app icon and see if it offers to hide it.

It sadly does not let me hide the App icon from the list of installed apps, which is what I'm specifically trying to ask for (not just from the start menu, sorry for the confusion)

I also would like this feature. OpenBoard, for example, is one of the other keyboard apps with the ability to hide itself from the app drawer. Yes, many (but not all) third-party launchers can also achieve this, but I use the default GrapheneOS launcher, so I can't manually hide apps without the feature being built into the app itself.
