Swipe punctuation [feature request] #191

With my current keyboard, each letter has secondary symbols that I can swipe to the space bar for, ie period to space inserts . automatically.

Should include period, comma, hyphen, question mark, explanation mark, apostrophe, slash, etc.

I would like to add to this: could we have swipe down for punctuation and up for caps?

I have something similar on SwiftKey, where the period button can be swiped up quickly to a popup that has comma, question mark, exclamation point, and so on. If something similar could be added ,assuming that feature doesn't have IP attached, I think it would be a good customization option. It would make the typing transition a bit more seamless although admittedly I've no idea how popular SwiftKey is or how many people use that feature.

I use Honso keyboard and every letter has a swipe up/down alternative. It is very handy and allows you to type most things without ever using alt keys.

I don't think there is an IP for that.
