feature req : disable option for "please tap for updates" #30

Most of my updates come from your F-Droid Repository, or I have a list to check in my web browser or it's an off line Device and I update manually So it would be nice of I could remove the "Please tap for updates" forever

It seems there is a setting for this in "Developer settings' Do you mean android settings> system>developer options?

I cannot find developer settings in the futo settings v121

To get access to developer settings, go inside the app, go to Help & Feedback, tap the version code until it says you're a developer, and back in the main screen you'll have access to developer settings

Idea: You could get the installation source and show or hide the option accordingly

alternative: get installed apps & show or hide (problem: more rights to request?)

Or just better information on how to turn it off in the app. A turn on developer options switch would likely be used ASAP by any power user and the turn on would be there. If developer options was not hidden I expect I would have found it right after I first instated the app.

What benefit is there to hide developer options? (In a year it so any search will show how, but until the app is popular people will ask again and again
