Unable to Search Emojis Using Numeric Characters #558

What happened?

When using the emoji search bar, typing numbers does not appear in the search bar. There is haptic feedback from the keyboard input but number chars never get entered. All symbols seem to work though.

I would expect that numeric chars would valid input for searching emojis.

The emoji search functionality seems a bit wonky too, like with just the char c no results appear but with ca suddenly results are populated. This may be a separate issue but mentioning in case it's related.

Duplicate of #465 - merging that issue into this one. Both issues have to do with users not being able to search for emojis using numeric characters.
