Slight Delay When Switching from Typing to Swiping Resulting in Wrong Word #697

What happened?

When typing a word, then switching to swiping, there's a delay and only part of the letters registered, resulting in an incorrect word. The scenario is usually this - a word is too short or has 2 starting letters that are close to each other on the keyboard, so swiping doesn't work. So I type the word, then switch back to swiping. Or try to.

Please don't take this the wrong way, really appreciate the work on this keyboard!

I see it most when texting someone or entering text in a comment field or something like that.

Sure thing. Idk how well this will show what I'm referencing, though. I did see the issue, despite some of the words being gibberish 😬 I can try to provide another one if necessary.
