YouTube Shorts don't show up in channels or the subscriptions feed #282

I don't view shorts generally, but there are a couple of channels I follow that make heavy use of the feature, such as @FireDepartmentChronicles and @hankschannel. Viewing these channels in Grayjay only shows the regular videos, not the shorts, and the shorts also don't appear in my subscriptions feed. Shorts do come up in search and they play just fine, so I assume this is an issue with how the plugin fetches videos from individual creators.

If shorts should be added to the feeds I'd like to have a toggle in the plugin settings to disable them.

Yeah, I'd hope/expect for shorts to be added as a category to the feed's filters and individual subscription Fetch Settings, which already have categories for VODs, livestreams, posts, and scheduled videos. Those have been very useful.

I would very much appreciate a filter to be able to block content under 65 seconds or in a phone orientation.

I personally hate Shorts, so I would also like the option to disable videos under specific times as a general setting, NOT as an individual setting that should be selected every time that I refresh or something like that.

I really do hope Shorts content if plug-ins for Tiktok get developed and maybe even Instagram reels plugin for Instagram. I hope they add a just shorts tab and you can have multiple platforms like that. I don't like the content sometimes but I would like it to be optional too.

A toggle for the home and/or subs to go from shorts to long form maybe?

I'm okay with a toggle to turn it on or off, and also the option to filter them out from searches. But the option to view Shorts for a specific channel should be present and it isn't.
